So, last weekend we picked this gigantic "ghost" pumpkin at the patch, and it was just begging for some color...
So we decided to paint it!
We used crayola paints...
Added a bit of Elmer's Glue...
And swirled it all together!
(The glue keeps the paints from flaking off the pumpkin!)
I took precautions, moved the whole project to the front porch, and stripped the baby!
And within seconds, Gigi's enthusiastic painting dance had her sporting a splash of color!
She didn't seem to mind, but a few minutes later...
That same enthusiastic dance had brother sporting a similar smear of color!
But the project was a hit...
And the pumpkin is no longer begging for a face lift!
Noah forgave Gigi for painting his face...
And everyone got a bath!
That's funny: you buy a ghost white pumpkin and the kids want to paint it orange! Great project! And a beautiful shot of the painting activities surrounded by the turning leaves in your yard. Love it! (And all of you!)
